![]() It's extremely easy to avoid oxygen starvation, it's extremely easy to obtain compounds for tethers, very early on in the game you start collecting RTG's (basically creative energy sources that manifest power from no where). You can use the terrain to build a dirt wall/ceiling etc, but then you have to fight the terrain editing which with FPS drops and subsequent movement jerks, camera, can be annoying. There is no real 'base building', everything is just thrown everywhere, no walls, no ceilings, no hydroponics, you basically have one hand held tool. The lore is lacking, and far and few between You get a small smattering of actual lore quests (if you can call it that, they're not very explanatory or in-depth) and just a ton of missions that will likely reward you bytes to unlock stuff, or give you for the most part, stuff you already have. Content updates are severely lacking and few/far between and the most content that gets updated is the cosmetics. The 'create games with friends' is limited by the small amount of functions available in blocks. Where are these 'rare discoveries', 'harsh environments'.? 'Space sandbox adventure'.? Where's the adventure? It's not a 'vast universe'. And I haven't even tried creative mode yet, this review is based on the 'adventure' mode. The gameplay is extremely demo/creative/overpowered and the initial feeling of exploration/progression gets stale fast, there is little gameplay depth. ![]() This is advertised as a survival sandbox, it's a sandbox for sure, but it's practically a creative novel. ![]() ![]() I regret wholeheartedly supporting this game and will not buy any other software from the Publisher/Developer - I really tried to like this. ![]()
